For pharmaceutical manufacturer MSD we created an AR application to educate on the biochemical workings of their latest drug for treating diabetes type 2 patients. The app is used on exhibitions in combination with a custom built model of a vein and the involved cell surfaces to overlay them with animated molecules and explanatory descriptions.

As the only programmer on the project I was responsible for all technical aspects
Researched all involved biochemical processes to properly represent them within the app
Developed the entire application, including UI and all animations
Optimized ARKit tracking to align content with real world model of vein and cell surfaces
Idle detection to reset the app when it is no longer in use
Setup custom deployment pipeline to client's devices
Integrated Google Analytics to collect usage statistics
Coordinated work with contractors to create the physical model and ensure it meets the requirements for AR tracking
